BRIAN HUGHES
Executive Director
Brian has served as a public school teacher, associate pastor, and as a missionary with Child Evangelism Fellowship® in both Dallas, TX and Phoenix, AZ throughout his 25 years of ministry to children and youth.
In 2008, Brian married the love of his life, Michelle, and together they are committed to reaching the next generation (children and youth) for Jesus Christ. Brian and Michelle faithfully serve in the local church as well as in the ministry of Child Evangelism Fellowship and see themselves growing old together doing so. Brian and Michelle will welcome their first child into the world in November 2011.
Brian was saved as a child through the ministry of Child Evangelism Fellowship® of Arizona and counts it a tremendous privilege to serve in the ministry that reached him at such a young age.
SHARRI RUNNELS
Associate Director
Sharri first became acquainted with Child Evangelism Fellowship® when she visited a Good News Club at a public school. When she saw the children singing, praying, and hearing an uncompromised Gospel presentation, Sharri knew that this was the ministry for her.
For the next five years (2001-2005) Sharri worked to establish the After School Good News Club® ministry in the Valley of the Sun, and served as the ministry’s director. In 2003, the ministry under her leadership earned the Gold Medallion Award from CEF International Headquarters for ministry excellence.
